Reminds me when I used to visit as a child :)
A great working museum with lovely volunteers.
Very interested. Good demonstrations and intesting people to explain the workings.
A nice example of an old working watermill. A little awkward to climb the steps as they are original and quite narrow. Especially difficult if there are a lot of visitors so a bit of waiting is inevitable. Worth it though for the original setting. It was great to see the mill running and producing flour and then to be able to buy the flour in the onsite shop was a nice touch. The staff were all friendly and informative adding to an enjoyable experience. So, well worth a visit providing you don't mind being a bit patient on a busy day.
It's nice to see a mill that is still working and it's nice you can buy the flour in the shop but they didn't have much left in stock. Not suitable for people who are disabled or can't climb very steep steps
