Visited friends on the park. Peaceful relaxing and quiet....wonderful.... 6 berth lodge was amazing. Extremely comfortable beds.Will definatelly book ourselves..loved it.
Such a beautiful place shame about all the Goose Poo!!! Ankle deep and no wonder with the amount of Geese on this site, it's a breeding ground , literally hundreds of them around the caravans and lodges . We've been going for 5 years now and despite promises to eradicate the problem it's getting so bad I can't see us going again unless there are big changes. Once you've cleared the mess and try to get a good night's sleep with the geese squawking from first light is no fun either.
Peaceful, relaxing and well kept. I stayed with a friend in her caravan for a few days and enjoyed walking through the woods and seeing the fallow deer that inhabit there. The caravans are situated around man made lakes that are full of fish and are great for the fishermen amongst us. Lincoln not too far away by car. I would say, it is a shame there is nothing available here for the caravan owners to socialise, like a cafe perhaps.
Beautiful tranquil and relaxing. Very friendly people. Lovely fishing lakes full of fish. Just one little thing needed a shop for groceries etc other wise perfect .
