First time visiting under the new owners, WOW, food was amazing, service was fantastic and reasonably priced.Quality of the decor is first class.We will be going back again thats for sure.Cant recomend this place enough.
Beautiful pub with plenty of space, good access for all and the cleanest neatest toilets in pub history. The food was incredible, packed with flavour, high quality ingredients and great presentation. A warm welcoming atmosphere with a good selection of drinks both fridged and on tap. Friendly helpful staff/owners and gorgeous decor. Highly recommended! This venue also does weddings and is well worth a look if you're planning a wedding in the area. (Photos from our delicious Christmas dinner)
Very well refurbished building contains great atmosphere which somehow walks the line between traditional and fresh.Some good gin and the service is excellent. The staff are genuinely warm, friendly and human.Food was superb. Whitebait starter had a light batter and a balanced salsa. Venison cooked to perfection and evened out nicely by roasted veg and a little rich sauce.
Always look forward to coming to this pub, the food is so fresh, different and presented so well. I brought some friends here and they were so impressed at the standards of service and food(I knew they would love it) that they want to def come back! Keep going Bustard Team, you're doing an amazing job!
What a gem of a pub! The food was exceptionally good. The ales that I tried were both very good but had flavours across the spectrum The staff know the business and know what they are doing. I just wish it wasn't 140 miles from where I live. It's a beautiful building very well kept and in a really nice situation. I don't give five stars very often or in fact write reviews but you deserve this one. Well done.
